A burglary at Detective Ben Slachter's house ends up with the burglar being dead. His partner Stan Vroom supports him unconditionally, but is he telling the whole truth?

A TBS patient has escaped during probation. Dries has the man ever arrested because he abused and tortured the daughters of his girlfriends. Along with Esther he puts it all out to get the man back into the forensic hospital. Ben is suspended and Stan has a new colleague, Lieve Jansons, who he has to investigating the disappearance of a notary. But Stan has no sense in his new colleague. He worries about his suspended partner that he does not get, because Ben is working on its own agenda . When Stan finally agreed with him in a restaurant turns the evening into a nightmare.

In a reformed community a 15 year old girl disappears. Dries and Esther, who knows the community well , investigate the case. As soon as there is evidence which Esther convince the naive girl victims of pimps has become. But Dries is not so convinced. Stan and Lieve take to the streets after robbers who held dear. Stan sits with his head too much to Ben, Lieve is making a decision to continue the investigation alone. But whether it is a good idea?

A possible attack keeps the whole team under stress. There are strong indications that two girls in the afternoon to detonate bombs in the city. All available units are deployed to prevent a disaster. They discover who the girls are, but it is a race against the clock. Do they win that and at what cost?

A mother reported that her son was still inside the museum when it is closed. When the alarm sounds, the security thinks it's because of the boy. But it appears that there was stolen a very valuable painting. Esther and Dries quickly discover that the mother lied. Her son is kidnapped and forced to tell this story. The child is quickly found, but it appears to be heavily drugged. Dries and Esther discuss the matter with Heinberg who finds the abduction carries the most weight. But there is the representative of the insurance, a former police officer, disagreed. Lieve and Stan investigate the aggravated assault of a gay. After he left his favorite bar he was beaten down.

Dries and Esther investigate the murder of a wealthy Dutchman. The man seems to be the victim of a date rape given the dates he made with strangers over the internet. However, it appears he rejected by his religious family where not everyone seems to be telling the truth. Lieve and Stan examine the declaration of a banker. His car and house were destroyed. If it appears that he controls the arrears to the bank, loom a lot of people with a motive for the demolitions on. If the banker then also disappears, all signals signs to red.

The whole team is fully committed to the suicide of a victim of the missing banker. But was it a suicide ? And the banker or disappeared at the hands of one of his bankrupt clients? As they dive into the affairs of the banker , the man does not always acted ethically and pure. The man not only earned money for the bank, but he and his friends themselves were also significantly better.

A truck driver reports that he believes certain shipments he transports from the port contain cocaine. He reports to the detectives in order to catch the perpetrators in the act. But that is up to public prosecutor Berg to decide. He does not want to put a citizen in danger, but the man himself and the detectives insist. Berg eventually gives in, but is that a good idea? Stan begins to understand that there is more going on with his former partner Ben. And that the mysterious Van Nieuwerbroek has something to do with it. Officially, however, he cannot take any action against him.

A young Polish woman is found dead behind the greenhouses in Westland. The autopsy reveals that she has been severely beaten. The initial evidence points to her employer, who has a habit of getting involved with his young female employees. When it emerges that she was picked up by a shadowy figure in an expensive car the night before her death, the investigation leads to another dangerous world. Stan finally gets the opportunity to arrest Van Nieuwerbroek.

Van Nieuwerbroek must be released on Hein Berg's orders. When he is found murdered the next day, Stan is the prime suspect. Hein and Lieve suspect that the mysterious Hunter Vaals played a role in the murder of their former colleague Ben. Hein instructs Esther and Dries to find out who Vaals is. This turns out to be a more dangerous task than they realize. Meanwhile, Stan manages to get out of the cell block after an interrogation by the national police. He knows he has to warn his colleagues. But he seems to be too late.
