Doubting Thomas
An examination of Thomas' story outside the New Testament, in particular the Christian traditions connecting him with India. Doubting Thomas got his name after refusing to believe that Jesus had appeared to the other apostles following his crucifixion. Only after Jesus came to him and let Thomas touch his wounds did his faith return. After the resurrection of Christ, Thomas pretty much disappears from the New Testament but some recent archeological evidence might give us a clue as to where Thomas went.
