Die Bochumer Feuerwehr wird zu einem Wohnhaus gerufen, in das der Blitz eingeschlagen ist. Zwischen dem Dach und der Verkleidung knistert es bereits verdächtig. Können die Einsatzkräfte verhindern, dass das Feuer auf das komplette Haus übergreift? Bei einem anderen Einsatz ist Fingerspitzengefühl gefragt. Ein kleiner Junge ist zwischen einer Wand und einem Geländer am U-Bahnsteig eingeklemmt und hat große Schmerzen. Die Rettung gestaltet sich äußerst schwierig. In dieser Folge wird außerdem erstmals die Arbeit in der Einsatzleitstelle gezeigt.
