BBC One's hit daytime drama series Father Brown is set to return this December, for its sixth series, and opens with a Christmas Special before the series continues in January.

The body is identified as Scarlett Dreyfuss, a woman reported missing after the dress rehearsal of Red Riding Hood in 1946, throwing open a seven year-old case.
