Fair City - Season 36

Ray's suspicions are piqued about Pete and Paul's new alliance when he learns how Nora was treated. Kira makes a huge decision as she struggles with seeing Mondo every day. 

Fergal take a risk for Steo. Ray's snooping causes tension between Pete and Paul. Jess and Melanie's rivalry increases.

Pete and Paul are forced to reach out to J.J. Steo has to placate an angry Fergal. Jess lands Melanie in hot water. Mondo is stunned to learn that Kira is really leaving

Mondo risks all in a last bid public attempt to stop Kira from leaving.  Pete is terrified that Hughie's demands will uncover his illegal dealings.  

Dean gives into his desire for Mairead. When Erica and Georgie learn that Dolores plans to sell the salon, they fear for their jobs. . Kira is pressured into living with Melanie.

Reality comes knocking for Dean and Mairead when Damien calls. Sharon, Erica and Georgie proposition a bemused Dolores. 

Doug buys a unique engagement ring for Erica but will he get to propose? Despite her guilt, Mairead chooses to take comfort from Dean – until Damien comes home. 

Doug can't get a chance to propose to Erica, but without his knowing, she sees the ring, and she's horrified. 

Jacinta stands in the way of Renee's ambitions as the community shop's kingpin. Orla's actions threaten to derail Kira's big event. Mairead encourages Dean to date other people.

A missing designer handbag hijacks Kira's preparations for the charity auction. A stressed Erica instructs Georgie to ramp up his efforts to dissuade Doug from proposing. 

Mairead is surprised to find that Renee is sympathetic to her situation. Furious that Jacinta has dug up dirt on Ellie's past, Renee joins forces with Greg. 

Erica freaks when Doug insists today is the day he proposes. Renee gears up to face off against Jacinta who is interviewing her for the shop position. 

Fergal, struggling to find any friends to support him, comes face to with an important figure from his past. 

Fergal has a surprise in store for Liam, who's mind is focused on getting Carol back. Nikki sees an opportunity in Erica and Doug's wedding planning.

Nikki spots an opportunity to make some cash out of Erica's desperation for a slot at her dream wedding venue. Ellie becomes further enamoured with Ian.

A desperate Jacinta takes revenge on Liam. Doug is horrified to discover Erica lied to him. Ian blames Greg when he's reprimanded by Maxine. Ellie is flattered by Ian's attention. 

Carol warns Liam he's playing with fire while Jacinta and Fergal plot his downfall. Gwen discover she's running out of friends and favours. Ian plays mind games with Greg. 

Fergal and Jacinta band together to take Liam down. James, resenting Gwen's ubiquitous presence, finds a way to get rid of her. 

Liam digs himself into a deeper hole when he tries to resolve his dispute with Jacinta and Fergal. James's threat to expose Gwen's scam backfires.

Goaded by Jacinta and Fergal, Liam does something he instantly regrets. Buoyed by a successful performance review, Greg bites back at Ian.

Carol brokers peace with Fergal but Liam is too stubborn to accept a deal. Mairead and Dean get careless but can't end their affair. Gwen is more than a match for James.

Liam is left friendless when he refuses to make a sacrifice for Fergal. Mairead and Dean vow to enjoy their short time before Damien returns. 

As Dean wonders why he's never been lucky in love, Tommy urges him to do the right thing for Mairead. Gwen and James' money making scam runs into problems.

Gwen and James tell Joan more lies. Will she believe them or will their entire cover story come crashing down? Mairead and Dean have their final gentle goodbye.

With Damien due home today, Dean makes a last minute proposition to Mairead. Gwen tries appealing to James's better nature while a desperate Melanie takes a wrong step with Joan. 

Gwen turns her focus on Emma, but James is one step ahead of her. A heartbroken Dean makes a big decision while Melanie is tempted to cheat on her exams. 

Panicking about her dreaded exams, Melanie reaches out to someone who can help. With Dean's departure imminent, he's reminded how important he is to Damien's recovery.  

James is under pressure to get Tyler intel for Fidelma. Gwen spots an opportunity to reimburse Joan. There's a birthday surprise in store for Cass. 

I Fidelma piles the pressure on James. Will he get Tyler to let something slip, or is Tyler already onto him? A Brewzer's delivery service? 

A minor issue turns major for an embattled Dolores. James is freaked when Gwen agrees to go out with Tyler. Damien is thrown when a surprise visitor shows up.  

James' fears for Gwen increase. Dean makes a shocking admission to Elaine. Zoe sees a spark between Alex and Ellie. Dolores' business plan makes Sharon anxious for her future.

James confronts Tyler. Gwen starts to doubt James. Elaine questions Mairead's beliefs about Tyler. Sharon inadvertently does Dolores a favour.

James accuses Tyler of stealing his laptop. Dolores decides to play Emma and Rafferty against each other. Ruby convinces Alex to film an apology.

Fidelma warns James to stay away from Tyler. Dolores puts Damien in a difficult position. Ruby and Zoe interfere with Alex's love life.

James is horrified to discover that Tyler has damning evidence on him. Ruby plays Cupid to further her ambitions. Rafferty's snooping comes to a painful end.

James clashes with Gwen when he insists she stay away from Tyler. Ruby's plan hits a major problem. Tyler plans revenge on Gwen. 

A link between Tyler and Laura's murder case is revealed, as Tyler continues his campaign against James and Mairead. 

Tyler threatens to divulge Mairead and Dean's affair, but can they keep him quiet? James finds himself at Tyler's mercy.

Mairead is faced with an impossible dilemma when a vengeful Tyler confronts her. Emma finds it a hard sell to get Rafferty to agree to employ James. 

Mairead and Dean are forced to confront their feelings for each other. James outwits Tyler but is rocked by a discovery. 

As Mark and Elaine arrive for Laura's memorial, Fidelma gets a strong lead on her murder. Mairead and Dean consider confessing their affair. 

An arrest at Laura's memorial sends shock waves through he community. But is the murderer still at large or will the Halpin's finally get closure?  

Paul encourages a paranoid Pete to put things right with J.J. Joan fails to see the funny side when she discovers the salacious gossip James has been spreading.

Pete is horrified to realise that he's dug himself in even deeper with J.J. Emma advises Rafferty not to repeat old mistakes when it comes to Joan. Fidelma and Detective Buckley are in a race against time when they discover a gunman in McCoys. When Dean tackles the gunman, the gun goes off, with devastating consequences

Damien and Dean are fearful when Mairead's condition takes a turn for the worse. Sash gets help from Nikki when she's freaked out after the shooting. Tyler does his best to negotiate with the guards. Meanwhile, Carol has an unexpected visitor.

As Mairead's condition improves, Dean makes a difficult decision. Carol is forced to mediate when Ali turns up looking for Lorcan Jr. Tyler ups his game when his attempts to make friends in prison backfire.

Despite Dean, Mairead and Elaine's pleas and Tyler's manipulation, Damien turns his back on Mark. Nikki forces Sash to have a day out, but it fails to lift her anxiety. Lorcan Jr riles Paul as Ali accuses Carol of indulging his bad behaviour. Episode 47

Dean, Mairead and Elaine persuade Damien to reach out to Mark, but he offers cold comfort. Ciaran ensures Tyler pays for his manipulation. Ali leaves Lorcan in Carol's hands, but warns future trouble is on her. 

Dean, unable to stay away from Mairead, has a close call with Damien. A paranoid Melanie arouses Jess' suspicion over her excellent exam results. When Lorcan takes advantage, Carol determines to keep him on a short leash. Episode 49

Damien's plans for the future shocks Mairead and Dean. A lunch to celebrate her exam results spells trouble for Melanie when Joan piles on the pressure. 

After meeting J.J.'s accountant, Paul is tempted by the savings he brings. Weighing up her options, Mairead decides against a big move, but what does it mean for her and Dean? 

Carol's decision to send Lorcan back to London sends Ruby spiraling with guilt. A surprise visitor interrupts Mairead's return to Carrigstown. 

Paul is troubled when J.J. makes him a business proposal. Victor and Ruby look forward to putting their lies behind them. Renee and Jacinta clash.

Paul has second thoughts after he rejects J.J's proposal. A guilty Ruby promises she'll help her dad clear his repair costs. Renee and Jacinta are forced to compromise.

Paul fears there's no escape now from his dodgy deal with JJ.  Jess falls out of favour with Joan while Melanie shines. Lorcan steps up to help Ruby pay for the car damage.

Leaning into his dealings with JJ, Paul burns bridges with Pete. The lull in their feud is short-lived when a miscommunication sends Jess on the offensive with Melanie. 

Zoe makes a damning discovery. Emma is suspicious when Holly turns up unexpectedly.  Melanie must decide between head and heart. Jacinta and Renee join forces.

 

Paul is freaked when Zoe makes demands for her silence. Emma resorts to desperate measures. Melanie is shocked when Gar turns down her offer.

Emma gets the DNA results. Paul fears he has put Zoe in danger. Things don't go to plan when Nora persuades Leo to ask Nora to the dance.

Emma is on the spot when Holly takes up her offer of help. Paul is stung by J.J's decision. Is it romance for Melanie and Gar?

An overworked Melanie loses it with Joan. Emma struggles to adapt to life with her new house guests. Ray is crushed when a busy Mondo forgets about their upcoming trip.

With James determined to get Holly and Milo out, Emma is faced with a difficult decision.  Babs' revenge against her assailant may prove a step too far. 

Sparks fly when Gar's well meaning intervention puts him on a collision course with Melanie. Babs turns a setback into a career opportunity. 

Babs is determined to succeed as Victor and Ruby put her through her paces. Kira drops the ball when it comes to Comet, but will Renee use this against her? 

Sharon and Liam's romantic evening is cut short when Ger Lynch shows up out of the blue. James's parenting failure lands him in trouble with Holly and Con.

Sharon, suspicious of the reason for Ger's return, is determined to get to the truth. Despite his best parenting efforts, James botches up with Milo.

Ger takes desperate measures to retrieve the locket. James seethes as Holly continues to manipulate the Raffertys. Kira is determined to run her business without Orla.

Sharon's fury with Ger escalates as Kev offloads the locket to a lying Liam. James' plan to get rid of Holly backfires. Oral realises Kira is pushing her out of the business. 

James stirs up trouble for the Rafferty's on his first day as Marketplace manager. Ger finds an ally in Dean as Sharon and Liam get closer.

Ger, running out of time, makes a plea to Sharon for help. James scrambles to contain the tenant crisis in the Marketplace, while Dolores throws Joan under the bus.

Sharon and Liam's romance hits a roadblock when Ger reveals his cover up over the house burglary. Joan joins forces with the tenants against the Raffertys.

Desperate to get her locket back, Ger sets a trap for Liam. Ray accuses Mondo of being a scab when Mondo crosses the protest line. 

Ger demands her locket as Liam directs his frustration at Georgie, but Sharon discovers the lost item contains a secret. Holly spots a job opportunity with Mondo.

Sharon evicts Liam and gives Ger her locket, but warns she wants no part in her sister's dangerous games. 

As Pete's underhand tactics are exposed, he finds himself without a boules partner. Fearing Kira has made him a laughing stock, Cass decides against making any more videos. 

Now that Liam has put Ger in danger, she desperately needs to fix things, but her troubles intensify when Aidan shows up. Holly's job at Comet hasn't gone down well with Emma.

Carol is shocked when Liam drops a bomb about J.J's past. A visitor to the garage looking for an absent Doug rings alarm bells for Pete. 

Aidan brings worrying news to Ger from Spain, while Cass prepares to give his big lecture. Lorcan hatches a plan to get Bab's on his side.

JJ protects Carol but pays a high price. Darren admits the truth about the theft but leaves Cass with a problem.  Paul warns Erica to keep her mouth shut. 

Carol is shocked when JJ reveals he has put his life on the line for her. Dolores makes a shocking discovery. Victor fears that Lorcan is using his position to get close to Ruby. 

With time running out, a desperate Ger must use Carol to get to J.J. Dolores confides in Pete about Wayne's involvement with Devereux. 

Carol offers Ger a lifeline but there's a condition attached. Dolores reveals the guards want to speak to her. Victor is floored as his market plan begins to crumble.

Cass gives Nikki a suggestion on how to deal with the kids. Orla makes a shocking revelation to Dolores. The trap is set for Aidan.

Dean is stunned by Ger's confession. Dolores has a plan to save Wayne. J.J. lies to Liam about Carol.

Ger's new business venture hits an early speed bump. Gossip about Dean and Ger leaves Mairead uneasy. Renee is peeved when Emma fails to ask her to join the new book club. 

When James vents his suspicions about the break in, he racks up the tension between him and Ger.  Dolores steps in when Ray pushes things too far with Pete.

Ger discovers something she can use against James.  An arrogant Ray makes a huge mistake when he tries to take over Pete's job. 

Ger and James lock horns in a struggle for the upper hand. A down Ray is tempted when Pete dangles the prospect of him taking the blame for Ray's error. 

The Collins family scramble to stop Anto from telling the truth about the fire. Paul goes to great lengths not to be outdone by Mondo.

Dolores is disappointed when Pete quickly returns to form after a fun holiday away. Nikki scrambles to deal with a Halloween costume crisis..

Pete is determined to get back into Dolores's good books, despite Paul's mischievous meddling. Nikki is in a bind when Kim refuses to go trick or treating.

The fallout after the death of a Carrigstown resident rips through the community. Out for revenge, Hayley makes a shocking decision.

The Collins' react badly when Mondo fails to take Claire's advice. Hayley makes a startling announcement to the community. Pete and Dolores get a date for their divorce.

Mondo vows to find out who has betrayed him. Dolores is stunned by Pete's declaration. Carol suggests to J.J. that Steo feels left out.

Kira must decide if she must confess to Mondo. Steo makes a troubling discovery about J.J. Pete realises he has made a terrible mistake.

Mondo shocks his family when he blames Anto for what he did to him. Pete's plan to save his marriage seems doomed. Lorcan reveals his fears for JJ's future.  

Pete is fearful of a rejection from Dolores. Jacinta saves the day. Melanie fears Mondo's admission will mean a jail sentence. JJ's amusement at Steo's fears causes a rift.

Kira and Juliet fail to stop Mondo seeing nasty graffiti outside Comet, but their support galvanises him. Dean realises how much he misses Damien as Mairead urges him to open up.

Juliet admits Comet is struggling as Mondo vows to fight for his business. Tommy short-changes Fergal but may have underestimated Fergal's ire.

A short-changed Fergal takes matters into his own hands to make Tommy pay. As Mondo sweats to keep Comet afloat, he receives an intriguing offer.

Will Mondo sell Comet, or will pride get in the way? A tough job ahead for Fergal, if he's to rescue his friendship with Georgie.

A defiant Fergal gets a short sharp shock with the return of Zak. Jess' request for more responsibility at work, causes problems outside of the office for Melanie.

As a power play, Zak tries to force Fergal to apologise to Tommy. Melanie distracts Jess from discovering that she's squatting in one of Joan's apartments. 

A wily Fergal sets Zak up to incur Carol's wrath. A visitor to the bookies leaves J.J on edge. Jess and Zoe take action against Melanie but they're in for a surprise.

Zak pleads with J.J to reason with Carol but an incident at the bookies may work in his favour. Fergal's hopes for Zak's downfall continue. 

J.J. does Zak a favour. Phoebe refuses to slow down after her injury. Emma tries to intervene in James's love life. Jess offers Zoe some work.

Dolores'  plans mean change for the Dillon's, while Emma enlists Gwen to help cheer up James. Zoe has a nasty surprise at work and Phoebe still struggles with her injury.

Zak remains eager to join JJ's poker game.  Zak grows suspicious of Gwen's interest in James.  Dean and Mairead feel Phoebe's anger.

As tensions escalate, James hatches a drastic plan to thwart Zak. A mischievous Fergal also sets out to scupper Zak. 

A cash-strapped Paul is drawn in when Steo proposes a shady scheme. Cass finds the perfect Christmas gift for Darren, but Ger won't budge on price.

Tommy is unimpressed with Emma's treatment of him in front of her clients. Paul has a close shave with a curious Garda Knowles. 

Sash is horrified to discover who Zak's new partner in McCoy's is. Emma discovers that James is the cause of Ger's animosity. Paul lands on the wrong side of Garda Knowles.

Zak warns a furious Sash she needs to change tack with James. Meanwhile JJ, eyes on the prize, watches from the shadows. Emma goes to war with Ger. 

Hayley returns to Carrigstown with a surprising request for James. How will he respond? Cass coaches Darren for his school play audition.

Pete oversteps the mark when he takes over as Santa, frustrating everyone in the process. An opportunistic Paul recruits a reluctant Steo in another risky venture. 

Steo goes rogue when Paul backs out of the robbery last minute. James is furious when Hayley announces she's going for full custody. 

Paul stands by when Zoe becomes chief suspect in the robbery. The Collins and the Rafferty's prepare for a big legal battle. Ray has a plan to offload his Santa duties.
