The most high-profile story of domestic violence in Russia. Three sisters aged 17, 18 and 19 attacked their father with a knife and hammer while he was asleep. The girls claimed the man had sexually assaulted and abused them for years. Friends and relatives of the family split into two camps: some believe Mikhail Khachaturian was a pervert and rapist, while others believe he was the victim of a planned crime.
