Episode 1
Simon comes to the rescue of the Blairs, devising meals fit both for pescatarians and meat eaters. And reporter Michela Chiappa gets the lowdown on lamb, salad and pasta.

Episode 2
This time Simon visits the Barnard family, who are stuck in a rut eating the same old dishes day in, day out. But Simon has come up with recipes and shortcuts to make mealtimes fun again. The Barnards road test his spicy alternative to a traditional Sunday roast. And reporter Michela Chiappa's out and about discovering why beer is giving wine a run for its money, how to make the most of spuds, and why everyone is falling in love with goat's cheese.

Episode 3
Mark Downie needs help. As the father of two sporty children, he's desperate for ideas for wholesome recipes that will appeal to his very active kids. Chef Simon Rimmer comes to the rescue, showing how Mark can quickly and easily cook family favourites in a healthy way, as well as introducing some brand new dishes - including healthy fish and chips, a wholesome turkey cobbler, and blueberry buckwheat pancakes. And reporter Michela Chiappa investigates alternatives to chicken and how to make the most of garlic and asparagus.

Simon Rimmer comes to the rescue of Sandy, who doesn't know what to do with all her spices and herbs. On the menu is duck, chocolate cake and scallop ceviche.

Episode 5
Simon Rimmer rises to the challenges of the Olabode family with ideas for one-pot wonders. And Michela Chiappa toasts the delights of cider and gets the lowdown on spices and onions.

Episode 6
Simon Rimmer helps Amy Short in Swansea, who wants more family meals with her three boys. On the menu is Korean chicken bites, cod tacos with Mexican slaw, and a chickpea stew. And reporter Michela Chiappa looks at smoked fish, artisan bread and gets the lowdown on cooking with different oils.

Simon Rimmer answers an SOS from the super-busy Scarfe family in Huntingdon. On the menu is beef cheeks, lamb with a super-herby salmoriglio sauce, and chicken and celeriac.

Episode 8
Simon Rimmer meets the Morphew family, who have seven hungry mouths to feed. Dad Carl loves trying new ideas, but doesn't want to be chained to the stove. Simon suggests a smoked haddock koulibiak; a smokey chilli with unusual rice; and a big chocolate trifle. And reporter Michela Chiappa gets the lowdown on rhubarb, chorizo and chillis.
