Karen hits her breaking point with the cramped family home; GG wants to pause her chemo treatments despite Deon's protests; with Karen pushing Darian to apply to NYU and Deon urging her to stay local, Darian is conflicted about what to do.

Karen and the children react to their potential new home. When Darian gets an audition at NYU, Deon and Karen clash over her upcoming decision. Deon and the children attempt to paint the new house with disastrous results.

Karen and Deon disagree about Darian's college choice; the boys show off their dance moves in step class to impress girls; GG informs the kids that she will no longer undergo chemotherapy.

For Valentine's Day, the Derricos teach the children about dating. Dior's toothache triggers a trip to the dentist for all the children. When Deon hides the issues in the new house from Karen, it escalates their tension.

The Derricos head to the mountains to prove that black people ski too! Determined to enjoy the vacation, GG hides her latest health symptoms from Deon, but fun on the slopes is cut short by a medical emergency.

The family deals with Karen's medical emergency; GG must come clean about her latest symptoms; the boys want to have their first ever hang out with girls they're crushing on at a skating rink.

With the house close to being ready, the Derricos hosts a barbeque for their new neighbors in an effort to make a good first impression; Darian anxiously awaits word about her NYU application; GG takes steps to find out why she hasn't been feeling well.

Deon and Karen must deal with the children's emotional reaction to leaving their old house. Darian makes some drastic plans for the future. Eric leads the youngest five children on a search for the Easter Bunny. GG learns the results of her MRI.
