Dr. Ballouz fulfills the last wish of a terminally ill patient and enables him to say goodbye. He is reminded of saying goodbye to his wife Mara. Dr. Ballouz's handling of the terminally ill Mr. Schenk is for assistant doctor Dr. Michelle Schwan an important lesson. And at the same time, Vincent and Michelle get to know each other from a different side through Mr. Schenk. Mr. Schenk has cancer and will not leave the clinic alive. His biggest concern is his cat, which he had to leave behind on the farm. When Mr. Schenk gets pneumonia, Michelle wants to treat him. But Ballouz knows that the patient longs to die and that there is only one thing he can do for him.
