Inspired by a racial-sensitivity seminar, the news team decides to do an expose on prejudice in America with Kevin posing as a homosexual.

Assignment: Spring Break
The KHBX news team heads to Panama City, Florida to investigate the dangers of Spring Break, but when they get caught up in the excitement of the festivities, the fate of their story hangs in jeopardy.

Assignment: Republican Leadership Conference
Ready to cover something larger than local news, Kevin suggests that Tillie convince the station to let them cover the Southern Republican Leadership Conference in Memphis, Tennessee, where they can both pursue their goals of making it big.

Assignment: Team Building
The news team attempts to close ranks at a nature camp specializing in group dynamics. Meanwhile, Kevin and Tillie temporarily rekindle their relationship.

Assignment: Brighton. Florida
The news team is forced to get creative and give new meaning to "unconventional reporting" when an unfortunate travel snafu and a snow storm threaten to blow their big break.

Assignment: Christian Convention
In an effort to boost their ratings among the God-fearing demographic, the KHBX News Team infuses their reports with religion by covering a Christian rock concert and a Christian gaming convention. In the process of filing their report, they learn new things about their own faith.

Assignment: Gas Prices
Due to budget cuts, the KHBX news team is in danger of losing their jobs; it's either them or the Doppler, and it seems the Doppler has the edge. At the same time, they prepare themselves for alternative careers. Marty tries his hand at stand-up comedy while Alan returns to the seedy world of Korean Karaoke.

Assignment: Daytime Talk Pilot
KHBX grants Kevin the chance to pilot his own morning talk show, "Beekin and Eggs," but the team quickly learns that producing an entirely different show is no easy task.
