Mauro and Roberto, called to investigate a scam, discover with surprise that the robbed person is their elementary school teacher. Once the case is solved, they recall their school years with her and the teacher reveals funny details about them. Meanwhile, Manrico and Valeria are busy with a case involving a psychiatrist and one of his patients in the throes of a fit of rage; the attack will be foiled in extremis by Scalise and his men. Giovanna returns for dinner accompanied by Manrico, unaware of the mortal danger that awaits her outside her house.
