Stefan Ertl, workshop manager of the renowned picture frame shop Waasner, is found lifeless by his colleagues. Who surprised him at work at night? Inspectors Stadler and Hansen first try to find out whether it might be a fake burglary. Who could have been interested in harming Ertl and why? Are the suspects to be found in the business environment? The investigators initially targeted Benno Waasner, the owner of the shop, and his wife Elke. Was the business relationship with your employee Ertl really as trusting as you claim? But the entrepreneurial couple Dagmar and Ulrich Kleiber also appear suspicious, because their statement is not consistent and raises questions. Inspector Stadler is not only busy with an exciting case, but also with an order from his wife Hilde. It's the seed fair in Rosenheim and Stadler has to get his wife Hilde a very specific apple tree.
