Der erfolgreiche Fotograf Dieter Ludewig liegt erschlagen im Fotostudio seines Smarthouse. Die Kommissare Hansen und Kaya ermitteln schnell Verdächtige. Dieter Ludewigs Ehefrau Esther hatte eine Affäre mit dessen Assistenten Julian Reimers. Sie hätte ein starkes Motiv gehabt, ihren Mann umzubringen, denn bei einer Scheidung hätte sie nur einen Teil seines Vermögens bekommen. Jetzt erbt sie alles. Julian Reimers behauptet zwar, dass ihm die Affäre nichts bedeutet habe, aber sagt er die Wahrheit? Und welche Rolle spielt der militante Naturschützer Tom Schöninger, der von Dieter Ludewig wegen Körperverletzung angezeigt worden war? Derweil beschäftigen verlorene Konzertkarten und ein verwechselter Mantel mit einem Liebesbrief in der Innentasche Herrn Achtziger und die Kollegen auf dem Kommissariat.
