The head of a consulting company is murdered in his Wiesbaden estate. Prosecutor Bernd Reuther has to find out who is interested in Dr. Could have had Rönsch's death. Forensic doctor Dr. Judith Engel assumes death from suffocation. The dead man was found shortly after midnight by his son Mario. It was not the best for the relationship between father and son. However, Mario cannot make sense of what happened to Reuther. His mother Viola is also horrified by the violent death of her husband, although he is said to have several affairs. While High Commissioner Alexander Witte is listening to the victim's company, Chief Commissioner Julia Schröder looks around the museum where Viola Rönsch works as a curator. On the evening of the crime there was an event at which Dr.
Rönsch actually wanted to participate, but had to cancel at short notice. Rainer Thierse, Ms. Rönsch's assistant, outlines the course of the event. Reuther meanwhile comes across a company for solar modules, which was founded by Dr. Rönsch was advised. Can Managing Director Ralf Blume contribute crucial details to solving the case? Stefan Schiller also deals with the topic of renewable energies, because he wants to reduce the electricity costs of his food truck. But Reuther hardly has time to talk to the friend of the snack operator, because events will soon roll over.
