Een tijdje geleden heeft Jean-Marie meegespeeld in de film "Plop en de Kabouterbaby". Omdat hij de première in eigen land heeft gemist, is hij met Carmen, Kelly en de kinderen naar Nederland afgezakt. Hij ziet er Ron Brandsteder terug, de Nederlandse televisiepresentator die eveneens een gastrol in de film heeft. Lyndsey moet vandaag alleen voor de kinderen zorgen en fietst met hen naar de bakker. Maar met Bruce en Fay inkopen doen, is een hele onderneming. De drie besluiten ook papa Dave te verrassen op zijn werk. Ten huize Gooris zijn Kelly en Sam al een paar keer door hun bed gezakt. Zij overweegt een nieuwe investering te doen en informeert zich op het web. In Mexico genieten Debby en Nicolas van de vakantie en de quality time die ze met hun zoontjes kunnen doorbrengen. Het neemt wel niet weg dat een vriendelijke babbel in een debat eindigt. Niet alleen in Mexico zijn er gezinsbabbels. Bij Kelly en Sam is het avondmaal hét moment om de dag te overlopen.
