Voor Carmen is de grote dag aangebroken. Na jaren van last laat ze zich eindelijk aan haar ogen opereren en zal ze een minifacelift ondergaan. Oudste dochter Debby gaat met haar mee voor morele steun. Jean-Marie kan zijn vrouw helaas niet bijstaan want hij heeft een afspraak in Wenen. Voor een tv-documentaire keert hij terug naar het Ernst-Happelstadion waar hij in 1987 met Bayern-Munchen de finale van de Champions League verloor van FC Porto. Lyndsey reist met Jean-Marie mee als zijn assistente. Ten huize Gooris is Kelly erg tevreden met de schoolresultaten van Kenji en Shania. De kinderen mogen in het plaatselijk snoepwinkeltje wat lekkers uitkiezen. Maar Kenji denkt verkeerdelijk dat hij nu zijn huiswerk niet meer moet maken. Maar dat is buiten Kelly gerekend.
