Tim offers booze to Tate loosening his tongue about Petofi and learns of Petofi's plan to kill Barnabas to force Julia into showing him how to time travel. Barnabas and Quentin discuss how they can proceed. Quentin reminds Barnabas they were friends among enemies. Quentin tells Barnabas that Petofi is still after Julia's time travel abilities. Maggie returns as Lady Hampshire who has decided to come 'home'. Petofi suddenly slashes Quentin's face but it makes the painting bleed instead. Barnabas and the Lady Hampshire.
