Cruising with Jane McDonald - Season 1

Season 1

Episodes

Bahamas
In the opening edition, Jane and her fellow passengers stop off in Nassau in the Bahamas, where Jane finds solace in the state's oldest baptist church, and St Martin, where she seeks an intimate underwater audience with a host of sharks. Back on board, Jane is startled by the scale of everything - from the food and activities to the sheer number of people.

Treshnish Islands
On her smallest ever cruise, Jane visits the puffin-packed Treshnish Islands, and Fingal's Cave on Staffa, which inspired Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture.

The Danube
On her first ever river cruise, Jane heads to Budapest's Szechenyi Baths, before a visit to the moving WWII memorial, Shoes on the Danube Bank. Then, after a waltz and a wurst, Jane makes her way to her final stop of Passau, Southern Bavaria.

Alaska
Starting in Vancouver, Jane cruises around Alaska, enjoying a dog sledding adventure on an ice field, visiting the Glacier Bay National Park, meeting the cast of the onboard nightly musicals and taking a cooking lesson from the ship's executive chef en route.
