Mathieu, a dentist, throws his young assistant in the middle of the night over the balcony railing on the 7th floor. He had planned his move well, first by dressing up to look like Daniela, his former assistant, fired for nearly killing a patient by injecting him with an anesthetic to which he was allergic. But also by drugging his wife to put her to sleep the time to commit her misdeed, leaving her convinced that he stayed with her all night. But a plant, which will gradually lose its leaves after the night of the crime, will alert Captain Louise Bonne, in charge of the investigation.

The concierge of a palace murders a human resources coach and wants to accuse the director of the establishment. The incriminating elements accumulate against the latter but for the investigator Louise Bonne, he does not have the profile or serious motive. It therefore focuses on the concierge, whose whole life is summed up in this hotel.
