Set in 1963, Crime Story is the story of the Chicago Police Major Crime Unit headed by tough-as-nails Lieutenant Mike Torello and his obsessive pursuit of slick and ruthless gangster Ray Luca.

Robbery, Armed
Torello's birthday celebration is halted when Danny is shot in a restaurant men's room, leaving only a one-word clue concerning the identity of the gunman.

Little Girl Lost
A PI is killed before he can tell Torello the details of a murder, sending the Strike Force on a search for a possible witness, who is also wanted by Luca.

Love Hurts
Luca becomes obsessed with a movie star who not only is attracted to power, but wields some of her own.

MIG-21
Torello learns that the defecting Soviet pilot he's assigned to guard will have only one night of freedom, so he decides to help him make it memorable. Meanwhile, Torello meets Luca's newest employee.

Reporter Susanne Terry is reunited with Abrams when she investigates the firebombing of a black-owned nightclub casino.

Seize the Time
Torello sets out to prove that Iris's partners at the Moulin Rouge are laundering drug money through the casino.

A beautiful woman asks Torello to find her father, a gambler who owes money to a loan shark.

Protected Witness
A Chicago hood on the run from his former boss is a potential federal witness, if Torello can find the man before Luca does.

Last Rites
While Torello spreads the word about Weisbord's imminent death, Luca resorts to extortion---and "science fiction"---to save his mentor.

In a dream, Taglia recounts the atomic blast and the subsequent interrogation by and escape from government agents.

Roadrunner
Torello is careless in trying to recapture an escaped con from Arizona, whose state troopers want him too---dead or alive.

Desert Justice
Torello and Nate lack jurisdiction over a crooked county government trying to run a Chicago acquaintance out of business.

A hard-drinking reporter intimates he's working on a big story while on a Las Vegas "pleasure" trip.

Flashbacks recall Luca's past dealings as his alleged connection with the government is probed at Senate hearings.

In a Latin American nation, Torello is frustrated by Luca's cozy relationship with the local government until he gets his own inside contact.
