The second season kicks off with Ben fresh out of rehab and back in L.A., where he digs into a murder that hit close to home. Meanwhile, a billionaire wants to bring an NFL franchise to town; a former pitching phenom tries to get his life back in order as his harried mother struggles to keep her hobby shop afloat.

Always See Your Face
Ben asks Anthony to help him investigate his youngest daughter's death. In other events, Seth wonders about the meaning of the visions he had during his near death experience, while his assistant Andrea warns him that shareholders are showing concern after his collapse; Inez trains a new exotic dancer at the club; and Bo receives an offer to train a pitching phenom.

The World's a Mess, It's in My Kiss
Ben and Anthony's murder investigation leads them to a black market purveyor of surveillance videos; Seth has second thoughts about his purchase of an NFL franchise; Kenny receives a tantalizing gift of which he isn't ready to partake; Inez and Jimmy enlist her gentlemen's club coworker to help pay off his gambling debt; and Bo and Wendy's hobby shop sinks deeper into financial despair.

Can't Explain
At the athletic club where his daughter was murdered, Ben meets an entertainment lawyer who tries to persuade him to drop his investigation. Meanwhile, Seth hits the streets searching for meaning in his life; Inez receives an expensive gift from a gentlemen's club client; and Bo leans on Tyler to devote more time to practice on the baseball diamond.

You, I'll Be Following
Ben and Anthony lean on a lawyer to get information on Ben's daughter's murder; Seth relocates to an eco-friendly loft and announces his latest plan to benefit L.A.; Kenny befriends a woman who runs a homeless shelter; Bo goes overboard in his efforts to impress pitching phenom Tyler and his pal Eddie.

No Matter What You Do
Ben has a reunion with his ex-wife, whom he hasn't seen in more than 30 years; Seth is visited by his long estranged son; Bo tries to get his coaching job back and his problems increase when the store is broken into; a rich Englishman takes a shine to Inez at work; and Jimmy fences stolen goods for his loan shark.

Johnny Hit and Run Pauline
Ben's nostalgic reunion with his ex-wife and her husband takes a serious turn; Seth gets submarined by a tough journalist during a televised interview; Inez's boyfriend's admission stuns her, but not so much that she cancels her romantic getaway to London with her indulgent English suitor. Meanwhile, the hobby shop dilemma has Bo and his mother at odds.

Lovers in Captivity
While Ben's investigation into his daughter's murder continues, his relationship with his ex-wife deepens; a hotshot televangelist suggests that he and Seth work together; and Kenny and Tess grow closer. Meanwhile, a pregnant but still boozing Maggie entertains thoughts of drying out, and Wendy grows jealous of Bo's new romance with a local nurse.

Endangered Species
Ben's search for Cassie's killer leads him and Anthony to a coke dealer with whom Cassie was friendly; Bo tries to recover funds that his mother donated to Seth's homeless project. Elsewhere, a power outage traps Seth, Kenny and Bo in Seth's loft; and Jimmy hopes to convince Inez to move with him to Scottsdale, where he's been offered a job at a cousin's automobile dealership.

Master of Puppets
Ben and Anthony force heroin addicted Roxanne to quit cold turkey in hopes that she'll divulge info on Cassie's murder. Elsewhere, Seth sets his sights on the televangelist who's standing in the way of his homeless city project; and Bo is furious when Lily tells a girlfriend a little too much about their "special" lovemaking.

Calm Like a Bomb
Ben and Anthony's investigation takes them to an exclusive club, where they meet a Manson gang admirer. Elsewhere, Seth revels in the news that he's been granted permits for his homeless city; a Hollywood director shows interest in Inez; and unlucky at love Bo turns to his mother for comfort, but she's more interested in a new beau.

All Alone Or ...
Ben and Anthony attend the Manson worshipping cult's wake for Cassie; Kenny and Maggie pressure Seth about an operation on his brain tumor; a movie director arranges a meeting for his acting find Inez and escorts her to an industry ball that could be influential for her new career. Elsewhere, Wendy worries about her prodigal son, while her lover suggests she give Bo some space. Bo, however, is busy spying on his mother and goes to buy a gun.

Los Angeles
Season 2 concludes with Ben and Anthony confronting the diabolical Manson fanatics and discovering what really happened to Ben's daughter. Meanwhile, following his brain surgery, Seth stages a party to kick off development of his city for the homeless; Inez's film-director mentor demands she sever ties with a vengeful Jimmy; and Wendy is scheduled to be honored for her participation in Seth's Byzantium project, but Bo has other plans, which lead to a stunning catastrophe.
