Staff at the Military Corrective Training Centre persuade two detainees not to quit the Army and give military life another shot, while another inmate ends up in segregation as the end of his sentence looms after he kicks against the system. Sniffer dogs are brought in to assist in the hunt for a forbidden mobile phone after one squaddie is accused of making unwanted calls to his ex-girlfriend.

Staff at the Army's Military Corrective Training Centre have to deal with a detainee who has finally been caught after deserting more than 17 years ago, while another prepares for his trial for desertion. Across the road at Merville Barracks, the Royal Military Police must react quickly to a domestic violence incident involving a serving soldier, but the alleged victim has no idea which block she's in so it's a race against time to find her and bring her to safety.
