It's often said that the people who can inflict the most harm upon you are the ones closest to you. This is the story of a single mother whose world revolves around her son, her closest companion. As the weight of responsibilities become overwhelming, she goes looking for love, hoping to create a fresh start for her family and mend her weary heart. The new man in her life seamlessly becomes a part of the family, effortlessly meeting all the criteria she had set for him. "Love her and, more importantly, love her son" was the foremost requirement, and he fulfilled it admirably. Despite their deep bond, she had always believed there had been a gap she couldn't bridge. Now, her son has a role model in his life. They spend time together, engaging in typical father-son activities like watching and playing football and their blooming relationship fills her with warmth. However, she remains unaware of the true nature of the bond between her son and his stepfather. When the truth comes to light, she'll face a heart-wrenching decision.
