Christmas Morning From Oldham Parish Church
A heartwarming Christmas family service of Holy Communion, live from Oldham in Greater Manchester. Featuring popular carols accompanied by award-winning brass band, The Oldham Band (Lees), including O Come All Ye Faithful, O Little Town of Bethlehem and While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks by Night - a traditional local favourite. The bishop of Manchester, the Rt Rev David Walker, leads the service, along with the Rev Derek Palmer and the Rev Jean Hurlston. Also, members of the congregation share their stories of Christmas, in a town of many different traditions.
