As the girls clean up the following morning, Macy shocks her sisters with an announcement. A mysterious hooded foe attacks The Charmed Ones who escape through a portal while Harry has an unnerving encounter with the villain. The girls land in a secret location where they uncover more about the mystical world of The Elders…and community workspaces. Macy nurses a serious wound and Maggie meets a handsome stranger. The Charmed Ones quickly become aware of the gravity of their new roles and must decide if they are truly prepared for the responsibility.
Things to Do in Seattle When You're Dead
The Charmed Ones must learn to navigate the new world they now inhabit. Macy tries making sense of some very intense dreams and Mel and Maggie try to accept their new roles. Harry isn't quite himself ever since his encounter with the hooded villain, forcing he and Mel to go on an old-fashioned road trip in search of the demons attempting to bring about the extinction of all witches. A personal loss strengthens the bond between Maggie and Mel.

While Mel and Harry try to crack the Book of Elders, Macy struggles with the good and bad aspects of her demon side. Maggie competes with Jordan for a promotion. Macy ventures out alone and meets an injured and terrified witch named Abigael. Mel and Harry visit another dimension.
