Charlotte in Multilink World - Season 1

Season 1

The first season of Charlotte in Multilink World aired on May 30th, 2019, with 10 episodes, and it was met with rave reviews for its unique presentation style. Rather than traditional episodes, the first season was presented as a series of galleries featuring the show's artwork, accompanied by annotations from the creator themselves. This innovative approach to storytelling quickly became the hallmark of the show, and continued to be the main style of the show up until the sixth season. In addition to the creative presentation of the show, the first season also marked the creation of the production company, Multilink Community. This company was established to properly manage the show and ensure that it reached its full potential. With their guidance and support, the show was able to grow and evolve over the years.

Charlotte in Multilink World - Season 6

Season 6

Charlotte in Multilink World would be taking an 8-month-long break before returning for Season 6 on January 10th, 2022. This was a shock to many fans, who had grown accustomed to the show airing on a regular schedule. However, they were in for yet another surprise when it was revealed that Season 6 would not air on IGTV, as Instagram had ditched the IGTV tab and revamped its video format in October 2021 in an effort to focus more on video content. Season 6 would serve as a sort of soft reboot for Charlotte in Multilink World, as it would be the first season to not use the gallery style that had become a hallmark of the show. Instead, it would be presented as episodic episodes, a format that many fans were excited to see. Additionally, the new season would mark the slow return of characters from previous seasons, particularly those that had had smaller roles in the show.

Amandaland

Following three series of the Merman-produced, BAFTA award-winning series Motherland, a brand-new spin-off, Amandaland, is coming to the BBC, focused on Amanda.

Post her divorce, Amanda has had to downsize and up sticks to South Harlesden, or as the Estate Agent calls it SoHa (definitely not the area around Wormwood Scrubs prison).

With both Manus and Georgie now at secondary school, Amanda has to try and get her head around raising teenagers, dealing with modern motherhood horrors like teenage drinking, fake Instagram accounts and eco anxiety. Not even a woman as certain of her parenting as Amanda can deal with these nightmares alone.

Then there's Amanda's mother Felicity who is constantly around, and completely in denial that she is, in fact, lonely. Theirs is a slightly unhealthy co-dependent relationship based on backhanded compliments and veiled snipes about her new home.

After a brief spell of freedom, Anne is sucked back into being Amanda's minion to help her navigate the social scene with the other parents at the children's new school. Thank God for Anne.
