Eight celebrities not famous for singing are each paired with a recording superstar among Clint Black, Michael Bolton, Belinda Carlisle, Taylor Dayne, Macy Gray, James Ingram, Chaka Khan, Patti LaBelle, Kenny Loggins, Richard Marx, Brian McKnight, Aaron Neville, Smokey Robinson, Randy Travis and Dionne Warwick in hopes of their making beautiful music together. The show follows the celebrities as they are mentored by their weekly recording artist partners, choose songs and perform popular duets in front of a panel of judges, a studio audience and television viewers each Thursday night with the results show being on a Friday night.
