Deadly Plane Crash in D.C.'s Potomac River

Search efforts continue in the Potomac River after an American Airlines plane with 60 passengers and four crew on board collided in midair with an Army Black Hawk helicopter carrying three soldiers near Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C.
At least 28 bodies had been recovered by 8 a.m. ET, D.C. Fire and EMS Chief John Donnelly told reporters, adding that, "We don't believe there are any survivors."
The plane, American Eagle flight 5342, had taken off from Wichita, Kansas, and was approaching for landing when the collision occurred.
The helicopter was on a training flight with a crew of three, based at Fort Belvoir in Virginia.
Reagan National was closed until at least 11 a.m. ET.
