In the first programme of the series, fellow boat trip captains and arch-rivals Chris and Ben battle it out to be 'the best boat trip on the bay'. A daily battle of the best ensues, but will Ben, who has navigated the bay's waters for 17 years, come out on top, or will new kid on the block Chris scoop the most passengers?
Cardiff Bay has been home to a diverse community for generations, and the Butetown Community Centre is a hub where many of the old docks crowd meet, play and party. It is a place that unites, restores and cements lasting friendships.
The Dominoes Club is one group that gathers here weekly and they have a big competition coming up with rivals Coventry. With one man down, can the Butetown boys prove their worth to win the annual dominoes competition and keep their pride intact?
Philosophical plumbers Wayne and Brian are out and about on the job and reminiscing about the old Cardiff Bay. Is it 'the bay' or 'the docks', or is it 'Tiger Bay'?
The notorious Tiger Bay is famously the birthplace to one iconic global superstar, Shirley Bassey. We follow Shirley Bassey tribute act Leanne AKA Shirley Classy as she prepares to shed some pounds in preparation for her next big performance. Can she shift the weight on a diet of creamy moussaka? It's best friend Sue to the rescue!

Episode 2
In the second programme of theseries, the battle for the best boat trip in the Bay continues between rival captains Chris on Lady Helen and Ben on Daffodil, as they prepare for the busy Easter holidays. Ben has a belly laugh when he invites some glamorous dancers aboard his boat, but will it draw in the punters - or will it all be a big belly flop for Ben, and can he and Chris ever put their differences aside? Tiger Bay's most famous export, Shirley Bassey, has some competition from fellow homegrown tribute act, Leanna Harding, AKA Shirley Classy. Leanna is still struggling to shed those last few pounds in time for her big performance down the Bay, but best friend Sue has a solution - to put Bassey on a bike! But can she squeeze in to that dress in time for the show? Philosophical plumbers Wayne and Brian are feeling nostalgic as they compare the old Bay to the new and how modern glitzy developments are affecting the traditional communities in the area. Nasir Adam is a Welsh Somali man who was born and raised as a Butetown boy. He's chosen to stand for the council as a Plaid Cymru candidate. His opposition is also Welsh Somali so Nas is keen to get out and gain support. Nasir's extended family is behind him, but will he get his community on side in the race to election victory?

Episode 3
The vibrant characters of the Bay return for the final instalment of the series - technology and communications expert Martin and his fiance Elisa prepare to get married - but it's no ordinary wedding - not content with just getting wed in real life, they're tying the knot with the eyes of the world upon them and headsets on in virtual reality. But will the wedding be a real hit or a virtual disaster? Love is also in the air for florist and cafe owners Seb and Lucasz as they reminisce about how they met online and fell head over heels for each other. Meanwhile, customer and serial dater Lea isn't having much luck finding love online.
Philosophical plumbers Wayne and Brian discuss love, politics and the changing face of Cardiff Bay - its meteoric metamorphosis from one of the world's biggest ports to the tourist destination drawing people from all corners of the world today.
We climb aboard with the Harbour Authority crew, working hard behind the scenes, as they embark on their weekly deep-cleaning and decluttering operations in order to keep the bay shipshape and ready for all its visitors to enjoy. But there's something lurking in one of the locks - can the harbour boys save the day?
The first Somali Plaid Cymru candidate Nasir Adam gears up in Butetown for the local council elections, where he hopes to bring change for the better to the community he grew up in. But can he hit pole position against his Labour rival when it comes to the crunch on election day?
And, independent business owner Kev reopens his pizza kiosk in the shadow of the chainstores and restaurants of Cardiff Bay. Undeterred by the food giants, his time in the army has equipped him with the determination to lead his venture to victory as well as a socially conscious business ethos... each week Kev and the team roll up their sleeves to prepare 100 extra pizzas to help feed the homeless of Cardiff.
