Sam and Casey arrive in Balloon Town not knowing where to go next. They're hoping Philly the Kid can help them despite the bounty hunters on his tail.

When Bessie breaks down, the trio make a deal with Mama Hitch for repairs. Sam dreams of the last time she saw Kelby, the night Botica was attacked.

Mama Hitch prepares to carve up Philly's corpse while her sons try to strip Bessie for parts. The magician reveals his true identity to the King.

In Happy Lucky Market Town, Philly sends Casey off to buy supplies while he goes after the legendary (and currently very drunk) ronin known as 9ine.

While 9ine, Sam and Casey enjoy a night out on the town, Bessie breaks down and Philly finds himself communing with nature extremely closely.

Philly heads to Madura City with the droids to pay a bar tab, but when they arrive, they find a ghost town -- and one very unfriendly threat.

Masked fighters attack Kelby and Odin. Lady Day continues to track Philly, and dispatches a droid to find a bounty hunter named Jojo.

After arriving in a dump town called Zenith, Sam puts her friendship lessons from Philly into practice. Casey meets a droid with a morose outlook.

On the run from a giant crab, the trio falls into a deep pit, and are welcomed as saviors by the strange beings living there. But there's a catch.

In Squeaking Springs, Sam works as a waitress in a bar and meets a kid named Jojo while Philly finds himself in jail for murder.

The trio reach Gara's Keep, but things are strangely quiet. Undeterred, Sam insists on going in, convinced that she'll finally see Kelby again.

With Kelby captured aboard an airship and Philly in close pursuit, Sam's Cannon Buster programming takes over. But can a friend be an enemy?
