Season 1
Call It What You Want follows the director, James, who is plunged into turmoil when he learns not only is his boyfriend cheating on him but his series has been cancelled as well. James struggled to cope until P'Tee invited him to collaborate in his new series "2 Night". At the MTH production company he met Bas and Ait, the lead actors in the new series that he was working on; they both struggle with the expectations and pressures of the industry. The cast and crew of the series are faced with these obstacles in addition to navigating real romantic feelings that develop on set.


Season 2
After the events in season 1, James and Ait start dating but they still keep a secret from the management and the fans. Meanwhile, Marco and Bas are getting close to each other, but the manager, P'Tee, will once again get in the middle. When everything seems lost, someone unexpected will re-appear and help the boys make things right.
