He begins in Hertfordshire with retired firefighter Bob and his wife Wendy, who spent years looking for the perfect building plot - until they found it in their back garden. They want somewhere to play music, paint and write, but they soon find themselves facing an ever-expanding budget to finish the house.

Surrey
Charlie Luxton is in Surrey with Chris and Gemma, who are aiming to build an Arts and Crafts-inspired home of grand proportions. But their determination to do most of the work themselves while juggling a family means progress grinds to a halt.

Hampshire
Charlie Luxton is in Hampshire with Ryan and Jenny, who are hoping to bring a derelict barn back from the brink. But keeping the rickety shell upright is easier said than done, pushing project manager Ryan to the limit as he juggles his day job with running the build - and to make matters worse, self-confessed townie Jenny is not sure how she will cope in the country.

Charlie Luxton is in rural Somerset, where Tom and Laura are building a home on Tom's family's farm - a dream he has had since childhood. But despite years of planning, Charlie discovers a slight issue with the couple's plans - they don't have any.

The Floor
The Floor is a physical quiz show that sees 81 contestants face off in quiz duels on a giant LED floor divided into a 9×9 grid of squares, each representing its own field of knowledge.
The first challenger, selected at random, must choose one of his or her neighboring opponents to go head-to-head in an epic quiz duel in the opponent's category. The winner takes over the loser's square, gaining valuable ground as they expand their territory, while the loser exits the game. The winner must then choose – do they continue on and attempt to secure another square? Or do they let The Floor choose a new challenger? The last contestant standing who gains full control over The Floor takes home a life-changing $250,000 cash prize.
