For the 4th season, Border Security follows the work of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers and agents as they clear travelers at land, air and marine ports of entry, inspect cargo and secure America's borders. In search of illegal travelers, weapons, and contraband, there's never a dull moment for the men and women who work for CBP.

JFK Airport officers are on high alert for drugs concealed in backpacks. In Washington state, red flags arise when a driver shows up with someone else's vehicle. JFK Airport officers' expertise in telltale body language pays off. In Detroit, a German rock band rolls straight into secondary. An outbound traveller has a fluctuating cash declaration at O'Hare Airport. Chicago Mail Center Officers find more than Monopoly money inside packaged board games. In Port Huron, a routine check on a traveller comes back as armed and dangerous.

In New York City, a laptop belonging to a Caribbean traveller does not compute. A young Brit arrives at Detroit Metro Airport to visit an American cyber pal. At Buffalo Peace Bridge Crossing, a Canadian resident gets testy on his way to purchase motorcycle parts. A Chinese traveller is caught using his cellphone in secondary at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. At the Pacific Highway Border Crossing, a Mexico-bound Canadian has taken steps to avoid a messy situation.

In Port Huron, a strong odour leads to secondary for two Americans. An officer discovers gold at Chicago O'Hare Airport. Travellers follow the letter of the law when questioned in Blaine. An inflatable kiddie pool isn't holding water. A mistake on an African student's visa may get him expelled. A private jet is set for inspection.

At JFK, officers aren't counting on a couple's fluctuating currency declaration. A wandering traveller's pot pipe is discovered in Blaine. CBP officers question a Mexican national with odd travel plans. In Port Huron, a traveller's past may come back to haunt him. A father and his kids are thirsty for some American pop culture. It's the second time in secondary for two Florida-bound Canadians.

An officer suspects a US resident returning from the Caribbean may be hiding something. Two construction workers were out to lunch when they wound up at the border by mistake. A Canadian has to deliver the truth before visiting his pregnant wife and child in the States. A bounty of bogus bills is discovered at Detroit Metro Airport. Two sassy seniors have Georgia on their minds. At the JFK Mail Facility, a package from Belgium is turning heads.

At Detroit Metro Airport, a pregnant Chinese national has CBP asking questions. An airline security breach on the tarmac leads officers to a jet bound for Haiti. After splitting with her American husband, a Ukrainian traveller may have to split with her green card. A package containing suspected narcotics is sent to the Lab for testing. In Port Huron, a traveller's criminal past could cause problems. A parolee gets pulled into secondary.

In Blaine, a Canadian is interviewed under oath after CBP discovers pictures of pot plants on his phone. Without the proper paperwork, it could be curtains for a Venezuelan conductor. In Buffalo, CBP officers inspect a big rig for hidden contraband. At the mail facility in Chicago, officers collect copious amounts of counterfeit goods. A couple is pulled in for a pat down after a canine team detects the scent of marijuana. An officer questions a Sudanese born American who has returned after three months in Africa.

CBP questions a Canadian attempting to enter the US with three of his American family members. An officer has no time for a Swiss traveller's watch declaration. In Port Huron, officers discover baggies of suspected narcotics in a rented vehicle. At Detroit Metro Airport, agricultural specialists sift through plants for invasive species. An American mechanic gets stalled returning home with two engines.

A Nicaraguan traveller wants to visit his American girlfriend but CBP is concerned he may not leave. In Blaine, a traveller's plan to start an e-vape venture may go up in smoke. A couple returning from a Canadian casino could go bust. At the mail facility in Chicago, something's cooking with packets of powdered pork seasoning. Officers drill into a locked box discovered in a traveller's vehicle. In Buffalo, American indie rockers skid to a halt on the road to stardom.

At JFK, officers discover cocaine concealed inside a Caribbean cocktail. A Chinese student hopes to get a pass from CBP after overstaying his visa. Officers suspect a Columbian national is hiding something when questioned in Immigration. At the JFK mail facility, officers sift through packages of pills. A cross-border shopper with a criminal past is re-routed to secondary. A CBP officer isn't buying the declaration of a Chinese clothing designer.

CBP questions a pair of real estate entrepreneurs bound for Florida. In Blaine, a Canadian traveller's US investments are cause for concern. An officer discovers suspect souvenirs in the luggage of a traveller returning from Mexico. At JFK, a US resident's cash declaration is off the money. Officers discover a traveller is driving without a license after he wound up at the border by mistake. A US resident returns from the Dominican Republic with an unusual package. At the Peace Arch crossing in Blaine, two budding entrepreneurs are pulled into secondary. CBP examines the belongings of an American traveller returning from Nigeria. In Chicago, an unknown liquid substance is sent to the lab for testing.

At Detroit Metro Airport, a Japanese traveller must make a difficult decision. An officer discovers something seedy at the mail facility in Chicago.
