When the family gets invited to Rudy's father's birthday party, they scramble to make him look better than Paul, who's trying to hit on Rudy's mother. Meanwhile, Tina attempts to convince a woman to commit to a relationship with Rudy's father.

When Gayle tells the family she's sending in an audition tape to be on Tough Stuff Island, Linda is determined to make her tape boring to save her from being humiliated on a rejection reel. Bob struggles with his new electric grinder while the kids secretly attempt to make Gayle's tape more interesting.

To Catch a Beef
When Bosco goes to Bob needing to learn how to make a burger for an undercover mission to oust criminal and burger joint owner Vincent Balicki, it becomes obvious that the sergeant is severely lacking in cooking knowledge. As Bob's family constantly halts any progress in Bob's lessons, Bosco, still unseasoned, goes to his interview, only to meet with his potential criminal employer again back at Bob's Burgers for a spontaneous burger-making test.

The Repair Shop is an antidote to our throwaway culture and shines a light on the wonderful treasures to be found in homes across the country.
