Episode 2

In the second episode, preparations are underway to move the register office and all its records from Old Marylebone Town Hall. We also meet a woman whose job it is to register deaths for people with no relatives and see a citizenship ceremony take place for foreign nationals who have become British citizens.
But first we meet head registrar Alison who has had to stop a wedding after discovering the groom is already married. He tied the knot after a drunken night out in Las Vegas 20 years earlier. Next the registrars wed Claire and Peter who have been together for 11 years and have two children together. Cameras are also present at the wedding of Sikh bride Sandy who is marrying Greek Cypriot Luis and couple Mick and Tracey who are eventually marrying after being together 20 years.
