Big Brother - Season 17

Emma Willis opens the door to the Big Brother house, allowing this year's housemates to enter. But while things may appear to be straight forward, Big Brother will ensure that no-one will have the entire picture. The Housemates are not alone and they should be prepared for paranoia and suspicion. Six normal housemates enter the house. We then go to the other house were six Others are introduced, they are told they are not normal housemates and have to earn their place in the main house. The other six normal housemates then enter. Big Brother then asks the 12 new residents to place themselves behind podiums in the garden that have a descriptive word on them. The others are then told to choose one of these words and that housemate will be targeted, they choose the word 'Sexy'. Laura is the housemate who placed herself behind the sexy podium, so she is told she is now up for eviction and that she has to choose another housemate. She chooses Lateysha to also be up for eviction.

Six normal housemates enter the house. We then go to the other house were six Others are introduced, they are told they are not normal housemates and have to earn their place in the main house. Natalie tells the others about her past. The other housemates are shown VTs of the main housemates. Ryan is shocked when he discovers Sam lives in the main house, as is Jayne who has a past with Chelsea. The main housemates take part in a task in the garden - a tree has words draped on it, the house splits into two teams, each team has to guess which word applies to which housemate on the other team. The winning team are rewarded later with cakes. The other housemates are then told to target another housemate, they decide to target a housemate they see as popular so choose Alex. Alex is then told he has to nominate another housemate and chooses Andy. Marco is warned over inappropriate behaviour towards Laura.

Emma Willis presents a live show, which showcases highlights from the past day. Marco and Laura grow closer. Whilst in the Other house Natalie and Jayne have a huge argument over race. The other house are told that they have to choose another housemate to target and they choose Jackson. Jackson is then told by Big Brother he has to put another housemate up for eviction, he chooses Chelsea. We go live to the Other house were the housemates are told that they have to decide who is evicted tonight - they choose Jackson and Alex, believing that they are the most popular and will be evicted from the house - however, they instead leave the main house and enter the Other house. The public are told that they then have to vote two of the Originals into the main house on a secret mission. Emma speaks to the Other house and reveals that Andrew and Ryan are leaving. The two believe they have been evicted, but are in fact sent back into the main house on their secret mission on behalf of the Others.
