Muj and Sufia, from Essex, want a perfect mix for their growing family, but can't agree on whether that's in town or country. Meanwhile, engaged couple Adam and Jody, from Maidenhead, seek their first married home together in commutable Buckinghamshire. After each looking at three possible homes, will they find their Best of Both Worlds?

In West Sussex, Sue and Richard are looking for a peaceful, countryside home to retire to away from the traffic and commotion of suburban London. On the Kent coast, Matt and Janine need a family home that's a little less rural, but still offering great coastal walks for their three large dogs. After each looking around three houses, will they find their Best of Both Worlds?

Young couple Ayden and Pete are looking to get away from the bright lights of Glasgow city and find a more peaceful pace of life, while down in Kent, Gina and Joe are bringing their families together and looking for a Best of Both Worlds for them all. Debbie, Daniel and their daughter, Dilly want to leave their crowded Essex cul-de-sac behind and embrace a simpler, greener life surrounded by nature in the Forest of Dean. And in Bedfordshire Rebecca and Gerhard want to have the great outdoors as their playground - as soon as they open their front door... but still with the towns where they work just a short hop away. After each looking around three houses, will they find their Best of Both Worlds?

In Hampshire, cosmetic tattooist Sophie is hoping to find a perfect country home with city connections. And Janet and Ron are looking to retire near their grandchildren in Hertfordshire.

In West Yorkshire, Kal and Simon are searching for a family home surrounded by cows but without being too far from work. And on the Sussex coast, dad Philip wants to be closer to Brighton.

In Hampshire, Maddie and Nick seek a rural home that still offers café culture. In Northumberland, Sue and Alistair want to find their idyllic 'forever' home without losing city access.

In the southern coastal county of East Sussex, Julia and Martin are searching for a house that's far away from neighbours, but without being remote. And in the Cotswolds, former party girl Karen wants to swap glitter balls for hay bales. She's seeking the healing calm of the country but still wants to be within easy reach of a vibrant community. After each looking around three houses, will they find their Best of Both Worlds?

In Staffordshire, Sharn is searching for a home that can accommodate her horses whilst being not too far off the beaten track for her partner Steve. In Kent, Gill and Alan are on the downsizing trail hoping to move a little closer to the capital and to their grandchildren while striking the right balance of country living and town convenience. And in the commuter-belt of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire, Laura and Alex are finding their current home too remote, so they want a home in a larger community, but still with the country feel for them and their two little boys. In the Hampshire/Berkshire borders, Marianne and Chris want to follow their dream of living the good life in the country, while keeping their high powered jobs in town. And in Surrey, Fiona and Jonathan need a home together, but while he wants a countryside lifestyle and a mooring for his boat, Fiona wants city living with all it's shops, bars and cafÚ culture. After each looking around three houses, will they find their Best of Both Worlds?

In South Wales, retired teachers Lynley and Pete need an accessible home with gorgeous views, close to town. On the Hampshire coast, keen sailors Emma and Ross want easy access to the sea and also to London. After each looking around three houses, will they find their Best of Both Worlds?

In Surrey, Louisa and Paul are searching for a home that lets them and their two kids spend more family time together in the country and less time rushing to and from work in the city. In the Midlands, newlyweds Dee and Matt want to swap the noise and bustle of Tamworth town centre for the rustle of leaves in the countryside, without lengthening their commute. After each looking around three houses, will they find their Best of Both Worlds?

Caroline and Brad want to leave London far behind, as they look in Yorkshire for a dream home for the family, but without having to give up on the café culture they love. And in Kent, Clive and Faye are longing for all the peace and privacy that come with living in a remote spot, without any of the hassles of actually being remote. After each looking around three houses, will they find their Best of Both Worlds?

In Leicestershire, Jane and fiancé Rhys are hoping to move closer to big city bustle, while still being near green open spaces. In Tunbridge Wells, Olly and Jeff are looking to downsize now that their five children have flown the nest. They want to find a house that makes them feels like they are permanently on holiday.
