De vierde reeks van Belga Sport wordt afgesloten met een heel bijzonder tweeluik. Na het verhaal van Jan Ullrich, is het nu de beurt aan Lance Armstrong. Ook in de aanloop naar de Tour van 2004 werd Lance Armstrong van alle kanten belaagd. Toen was het geen ploegmaat maar een boek met explosieve getuigenissen dat voor herrie zorgde. De Amerikaan verscheen vervolgens aan de start in Luik met maar één missie: de hele wereld zijn wil opleggen en op die manier zijn zesde Touroverwinning – een all-time record – een onverwachte glans geven. Belga Sport sprak niet alleen met de Belgische clan rondom Armstrong (Johan Bruyneel, Chris Van Roosbroeck, Julien De Vriese, Eddy Merckx,…) en zijn ‘tweede moeder’ Claudine Merckx, maar ook met zijn toenmalige concurrenten, Ivan Basso en Andreas Klöden: de nummer twee en drie van de Tour 2004.
