Feride karakola teslim olup, kocasını öldürdüğünü itiraf etmiştir. Olay yeri ekipleri cesedi gömüldüğü yerden çıkartmak üzere Feride'nin eski mahallesine giderler. Ceset Feride'nin gösterdiği yerde bulunamaz ama cesedin sarılı olduğu battaniyenin bir parçası bulunur, incelenmek üzere kriminale gönderilir. Behzat Ç. ve Hayalet Feride'nin ifadesini alırlar. Feride işlediği cinayeti Hayalet'e itiraf ettikten sonra vicdan azabına dayanamamıştır. Hayalet, Feride'nin cezaevine girmesini istemediğinden ifadesini değiştirir. Savcı, Feride'nin ifadesini değiştirmesinden şüphelenir. Feride'yi kendisi sorgulayarak olayın iç yüzünü aydınlatmaya çalışacaktır. Harun, Eda'nın kendisini reddetmesinden sonra dağılmıştır. Ekipten ayrı takılmaya başlar. İçmek için girdiği bir pavyonda Larissa adında bir kızla yakınlaşır. Latife adında genç bir kadın bir parkta ölü bulunmuştur. Cinayet ekibi olay yerine gider. Yapılan ilk incelemeler genç kadının kafasının sert bir cisimle ezildiğini gösterir. Latife'nin öldürülmeden bir gün önce oturduğu mahallenin karakoluna giderek, kendisini dövdüğü gerekçesiyle kocası Mehmet'ten şikayetçi olmuştur. Latife'nin çalıştığı kuaförün sahibi Meral'in ifadesine göre Latife kocasından sürekli olarak şiddet görmektedir. Öte yandan Latife'nin eski nişanlısı Erhan da, Mehmet ile Latife arasında husumet sebebidir.
