The BBC's big comedy talent search heads north to Scotland and the iconic Paisley Town Hall, which, following a multi-million-pound revamp, has been transformed into a world-class venue.

Northern Heat: Lancaster
The search for Britain's best new comic reaches Lancaster, where five hopefuls take to the stage. Only one can go through to the grand final of the BBC New Comedy Awards 2024.

The Final
Over a thousand applied, 30 battled it out at regional heats, and tonight, six finalists take to the stage in their bid to win over the judges and be crowned the BBC New Comedian of 2024.
