Bargain Block - Season 1

Season 1

Episodes

Desert Modern and Mid-Century Museum
A very tight budget threatens to limit the creative genius of Keith and Evan as they tackle their first home renovations on a new block. Old, chipped paint inspires them to design a desert-modern home and turn a '70s interior into a modern art gallery.

Dormer and Palm
With one house collapsing and the other a broken shell, Evan Thomas and Keith Bynum have their renovation powers put to the test. The Dormer House classes up the block with gold, glamor and glitz, while the Palm House blossoms into an island getaway.

White Box and Cottage
Not everything goes to plan when Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas think they've caught a break with their next homes. Keith attempts an offbeat design with his all-wood White Box house, and Shea helps sell a cozy cottage that's out of their comp zone.

Calm Minds and Dark Moods
Evan and Keith hit some road blocks on a house with hidden plumbing issues and another home with a fallen tree on its roof. Keith's mind spins in all directions as he transforms these problem properties into a peaceful haven and a boldly dark masterpiece.

Safari and Country Estates
Evan and Keith are in for some major surprises with a hoarder's den and a house of mirrors. Throwing caution to the wind, they create a stunning safari-themed interior for one, but an unexpected client shakes up their country getaway plan for the second.

Farmhouse and Schoolhouse
Keith and Evan are counting every penny while they revamp a house with an outdated camper and the home next door to one of their favorite renovations. They'll need some ingenuity to bring their clean farmhouse and geometric schoolhouse designs to life.

Modern and Bohemian
Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas have unconventional plans for two decrepit houses. A fresh coat of black paint and a contemporary design brings the Mod House to life, while the Bohemian House becomes light and airy with the help of some peacock wallpaper.

Detroit Pride and Weird House
Keith and Evan take some major risks with their next renovations, and Keith isn't going to temper his passion for the sake of conformity. They go all out with a house dedicated to the best of Detroit and a home that is colorful, abstract and imaginative.

Craftsman and Classy Cape Cod
Keith and Evan hit the jackpot with their next two houses! The first is a classic Craftsman that Keith plans to transform with dark wood accents, and the second is a jazzed-up Cape Cod that might have the boys hanging up their shopping cart for good.

Malcolm in the Middle
In the words of They Might Be Giants' rollicking Grammy-winning theme song, "life is unfair." The inventive and wholly original sitcom Malcolm in the Middle has been honored with a Peabody Award and Emmys for directing and writing, but if life was fair, it would have earned an Emmy for Best Comedy Series, not to mention statuettes for its pitch-perfect cast. With his perpetual "yes, me worry" expression, Frankie Muniz instantly earns audience empathy as Malcolm, whose chances for a normal life are thwarted not only by his genius IQ, but also by his outrageously dysfunctional family: Lois, his obsessive, control-freak mother; Hal, his loving but ineffectual father; Francis, his eldest brother waging his own private war at military school; middle brother Reese, a delinquent savant; and Dewey, the put-upon youngest. As Malcolm observes at one point, "This family may be rude, loud and gross, and have no shame whatsoever, but with them you know where you stand."
