Ina's invited her editor and old friend Stephen Drucker over for dinner with a bunch of her new colleagues. To break the ice, she's planning an Italian-American dinner with spaghetti & meatballs and make your own ice cream sodas. Recipes include: Spaghetti & Meatballs, Garlic Bread, Ice Cream Sodas, Chocolate Sauce and Raspberry Sauce.

Jeffrey's Treat
Jeffrey has some really great news--he's signed a book deal--so Ina's throwing him a surprise celebration dinner for two made up of all the things he loves best--French Bistro style food and a classic cocktail to kick start the party. Recipes include: Steak Au Poivre, Matchstick Potatoes, Strawberry Tarts, Whisky Sours.

Girls Day Off
Ina enjoys a girls day off with two of her closest girlfriends. She prepares a pre-shopping snack before heading to Main Street for some serious retail therapy and then rustles up a light lunch for them to enjoy while comparing purchases. Recipes Include: Sour Cream and Coffee Cake, Grilled Peaches, Goat Cheese Salad, Sunrise Smoothie.

LA Story
Ina's friends from Los Angeles are coming to town, which gives her the perfect excuse to whip up a classy supper. And while she jokes that they'll be dinning on boiled water soup and undressed baby greens, she'll really be whipping up a fabulous feast.

Jeffrey Home Alone
Ina is going to be away for the night so she's cooking Jeffrey a great supper and breakfast to keep him well-fed in her absence. She suspects he'll skip the main course and go straight for the ice cream--how right she is!

Good Home Cooking
Ina's friend's daughter is studying hard at college, so she invites her and her two friends to her home for some fabulous home-cooked food. Recipes: Gravlax, Blueberry Coffee Cake Muffins, Banana & Orange Juice, Fruit Platter.

Pooch Party
Even man's best friend deserves a treat on his birthday and as it's Ina's friends' dogs' special day she decides to throw a party for her favorite pooch and his mistress at the beach. They'll be a beach BBQ for the dog owners with chicken sausages, homemade relish, potato salad, sea breezes at sundown and a fabulous sheet cake with chocolate frosting!

Ina's Take-Out
Ina's friend Michael Grim, a florist, has been really busy at work, so Ina's decided to treat him to a portable three-course meal--a countertop picnic lunch that they can both enjoy on his lunch break. It's the ultimate Ina take-out. This is no ordinary picnic: salmon with lentils, roasted shrimp with Thousand Island dressing and, for dessert, pecan squares with plenty left over for his customers at the store.

Black and White Party
Truman Capote wowed society with his Black and White Ball, and now Ina's wowing her friends with a Black and White Supper for the author of a new book about this renowned character and high-profile event. On the menu, Capote's favorite Chicken Hash, Pain Perdu, and White Truffles to finish off the meal.
