Hva har dere gjort?
The documentary series on the Baneheia case will shed light on the investigation and legal process that led to the conviction of Jan Helge Andersen and Viggo Kristiansen. The series provides a unique insight into the case from the time the girls are reported missing until today, where the readmission commission is considering whether Viggo Kristiansen should be allowed to try his case again.

To gutter som leker krig
The police in Kristiansand receive assistance from Kripos to investigate the killings in Baneheia. Forensic scientists provide insight into what the crime scene and the actions can tell about who was behind it. The police receive early tips about Viggo Kristiansen and Jan Helge Andersen. The first tip comes just three hours after the girls were found, when a man troops up to the police station in Kristiansand to tell about a suspicious man he saw in Baneheia the night before the murders.

En uforbeholden tilståelse
The police arrest Jan Helge Andersen and Viggo Kristiansen after the discovery of a pubic hair at the scene. Jan Helge Andersen quickly confesses to having committed one of the murders, but says that Kristiansen was behind the assaults and the other murder. Interrogation experts from Norway and England analyze the interrogations. The police receive information about Kristiansen's past, which strengthens their suspicion against him. Spanish forensic scientists analyze samples secured from the victims, and the results are presented by the police as "secure evidence against Viggo Kristiansen".

Det nest siste vitnet
The trial starts in Kristiansand City Court, and the public will for the first time gain insight into the explanations of Jan Helge Andersen. The Department of Forensic Medicine presents evidence that DNA from two men has been found on the victims. But information from the trial's penultimate witness, the coverage director from Telenor, can turn the whole case upside down: Viggo Kristiansen's mobile phone was in use during the same period as the killings, but strikes at a base station that does not cover the crime scene.

Hvis du har gjort det, blir du avslørt
After Viggo Kristiansen is convicted in the Court of Appeal in 2002, he starts serving his sentence at Ila prison and detention center. There he meets psychologist Atle Austad, who will prove to be an important piece to get the case resumed. Lawyer Sigurd Klomsæt takes the case. He receives discouraging information when he requests access to the evidence in the case and discovers that key witnesses have never had the opportunity to tell about their observations in court.

Burde ikke have været rapporteret
The readmission commission is processing the latest petition from Viggo Kristiansen, and the family is starting to get impatient. The Commission asks a Danish forensic pathologist to assess the DNA evidence presented in court. The forensic pathologist's conclusions create great hopes in the defense team, but the hope fades quickly. The question of whether anyone may have seen Viggo Kristiansen or Jan Helge Andersen to or from the crime scene is also a topic.
