Tír an Fhia, Conamara
Tír an Fhia is a busy village of 200 people on Garmna nestled between Cuan Chill Chiaráin and Cuan an Fhir Mhóir in South Conamara.

Béal Átha an Ghaorthaidh, Múscraí
Béal Átha an Ghaorthaidh is a busy village nestled in the mountains along the Cork and Kerry border. It is one of the three main villages in the Múscraí Gaeltacht and comprises of two separate townlands Drom an Ailigh and An Chill Mhór.

An Baile Riabhach, Corca Dhuibhne
This week Síle visits An Baile Riabhach, a townland just west of Dingle in Co. Kerry. Here she meets the locals, many of whom are descendants of the people who moved into the area through the Land Commission schemes of the 1950's.

15 miles west of Galway city along the shore of Galway Bay lies the townland of An Lochán Beag. Síle finds a resilient and confident community still very much connected to their local landscape.

Dún Lúiche is a small village situated under the majestic Mount Errigal in North West Donegal. During her stay in Dún Lúiche Síle finds a village steeped in ancient Irish mythology where the tales of Lugh and Balor were fought.

Tuar Mhic Éadaigh is a village nestled between the shores of Lough Mask and the Partry Mountains in South Mayo. A picture postcard scenic area of gentle rolling hills and lake views disguises a turbulent history.

Síle Nic Chonaonaigh continues her journey to Irish townlands and visits the village of Slaughtneil in South County Derry and finds a remarkable bilingual community who have transformed the economic and cultural path of their village.
