Season 5
We are in the summer of 1931, and the sun is again shining down from the blue sky over Jutland. Again Andersens Bathing Hotel opens its doors for the slightly excentric guests from Copenhagen, who again will create lots of trouble and distraction for the employees, owners and neighbours.

Summer 1932. It's been a year since Morten gave the hotel to Fie, but she has almost not seen him since, because he is collaborating with Madsen on the construction of a big building project in Copenhagen. But the regulars have made their appearance at the hotel. The family Madsen, Mr. Weyse, Mrs. Fjeldsø and her sister, and Mr. Aurland with his wife and sons, as well as the Frigh family. However, without Mr. Frigh, as the couple is in divorce, so Mrs. Frigh prefers for him to stay away. In the middle of the idyll, the Copenhagen stockbroker August Molin arrives with his Swedish wife, and Weyse is immediately taken by Mrs. Molin. A dangerous game, for Mr. Molin holds a violent jealousy, and it's not the only secret that Mr. Molin is hiding.

Anes Hemmelighed
Wholesaler Madsen is close to finalizing the purchase of the cheap timber that Molin has suggested to him. Meanwhile, Molin is trying hard to hide that he is on the edge of bankrupcy and that the timber does not belong to one of his clients, but to himself, bought with the client's money and without his knowledge. At the same time, Molin must make sure that his beautiful wife stays away from Weyse. Meanwhile, there are good things for Amanda, who sells an idea for a commercial with Weyse. Meanwhile, manufacturer Frigh arranges a croquet tournament, Edith comes face to face with the man she once dreamt of, and Fie's sister, Ane, demonstrates that secrets are not reserved for hotel guests.

The distinguished stock broker August Molin has been hit by nervous stomach. The sale of the building timber from Jutland to Madsen drags out, so today is definitely the last chance, to avoid revealing Molin's fraud against his senile client. Mrs. Alma Molin has tried to forget their problems and is looking forward to filming Amanda's commercial down on the beach. Weyse has also agreed to participate, unaware that the project will bring old emotions to life, that he thought were forgotten in the past. Finally, Valter tries again to court Edith. Mr. Aurland discovers Otilia's great interest in literature and comes to the sensible maid with a surprising proposition.

Hugormen
Little Severin has been stung by a wasp but Weyse is sure its a viper and that immediate action is needed. Morten also wants to see action as Merchant Madsen has bought Molin's timber from Jutland. The meeting between the two business partners turns out quite differently from what Madsen had feared. And Edith has fallen head over heels in love, which is insufferable for Otilia. Otherwise, there is peace between the Molin spouses, after a successful wood sale and the prospect of an even greater profit by helping Frigh. Finally, Fie is faced with somewhat of a dilemma as Miss Duelund from the hat store discovers that Ane has been lying to her.

Madsen considers Morten's offer to split the partnership. Fie and her dad try to track down Jesper to find Ane's baby. Mitzi finds out that Ditmar is gay. Her brother visits with 5 Hitler Jugend friends.
