It is midnight in Geylang and an ex-convict is murdered under curious circumstances. The case catches the attention of THURSDAY SOH, an aspiring investigative journalist. Her interest intrigues DANIEL WU, a profiler sent to assist in the case. He rebuffs Thursday's theories on reincarnation and the possibility that the murderer may have connections to a cold case. But when a 10 year old girl claims to be the murderer…

An antiques gallery owner crashes his car after seeing a shadowy figure at his backseat. Daniel rules the crash a result of a hallucination, but is forced to reconsider when another victim falls prey to the shadowy figure. Thursday and Daniel discover that the victims all have something in common: They once had possession of an antique - a cursed pocket watch.

There is a surge in strange rape cases around Singapore. Victims say the rapist is covered in a strange dark oil, and investigations reveal that there were no signs of forced entry in the victims' homes. All of these point to the work of a supernatural being in folklore… the Orang Minyak.

A severed limb is found at sea and Daniel is sent to investigate the strange appearance of a ghost ship. Meanwhile, Thursday concentrates on school work and her mother's old office. She gets on the case when she becomes Daniel's only point of contact out at sea.

Corpses are found drained of blood. The puncture wounds on the corpse's neck lead Thursday to look at vampire legends and folklore. Daniel discovers that the killer has a penchant for a specific blood type - and Thursday happens to be of that blood type.

Two paranormal investigators are missing and Thursday is made aware of their disappearance through the Avenue 14 portal. Her investigations lead her to the Red Mansion. Together with Daniel, she explores what is considered one of the most haunted houses in Singapore.

Charred limbs and ashes... these are what remain of the victims in Daniel's most recent case. Thursday believes that spontaneous human combustion is what caused their death, but Daniel thinks otherwise. However, he finds himself considering Thursday's theories when an old friend is involved in the case.

Nothing fazes Thursday... except for deadlines and school essays. But something larger looms amidst the mid-term chaos. When the university experiences a series of mysterious deaths, it is up to Thursday and Daniel to find out who exactly is the cold-blooded murderer.

Thursday realises that her grand-auntie Lynn is not as strong as she once was. She decides to get a helper, much to Auntie Lyn's disapproval. But when the helper slips into what appears like a possession and Auntie Lynn is accused of abuse, Thursday embarks on investigations of her own.

Daniel's relationship with Thursday is making it hard for him to continue his surveillance on her. The two try to make heads and tails of their relationship, but matters are made worse when Daniel suddenly seems besotted by an admirer of his. The mystery is solved when Thursday discovers that a special something is used to bewitch Daniel.

A pair of twin psychics are making waves online with their accurate predictions of death. Daniel thinks the twins are nothing more than charlatans, but Thursday is intrigued when they speak about her mother. Is there more to her mother's death?

A series of murders around Singapore appear to have some connection to Dr. Franklin Hyde. Daniel tries to get help from the imprisoned mad scientist, but is rebuffed. Dr. F will only help on one condition: He wants to see Ting Ting Adams - Thursday's deceased mother.

Thursday decides to find out more about Avenue 13 and her mother's past. She visits the old Avenue 13, but discovers that parts of it has been redeveloped into a new lifestyle brand that caters only to couples. Together with Daniel, they infiltrate the organisation to get the information they need about Avenue 13.

Thursday continues on her investigations of her mother, but is made to take a break when she receives increased sightings of a mysterious creature. Meanwhile, Daniel decides to do his own investigation on Ting Ting Adams. Unbeknownst to them, something evil is lurking around the corner.

A mysterious organisation has released a series of strange and weird puzzles around Singapore in order to recruit new members. Thursday decides to contact the organization to help her solve her mother's case. She joins forces with an online contributor Lovelace and discovers more to her mother's death.

Wealthy teens are missing, only to turn up as cult sacrifices. Daniel and Thursday investigate, but discover something more sinister. A black market organ harvesting operation is in play and it appears like a child is leading these teens to their demise.

Thursday's ex - Jamil - turns up asking for help. He is searching for his cousin, who is a Harimau Jadian. Auntie Lynn and Thursday's relationship becomes strained when she finally discovers the Avenue 14 headquarters. Meanwhile, Daniel uses unorthodox methods in his investigation on Ting Ting Adams.

A lone cab is picking up passengers and anyone who gets in it seems to meet their demise soon after. Thursday is investigating leads on her mother's death when she gets onto that cab. Meanwhile, Daniel manages to track down an old friend of Ting Ting - Annie Bodee.

While Thursday and Noel are occupied with Auntie Lynn's funeral, Daniel tries to locate Annie. Secrets are revealed and truths are uncovered as Thursday is finally told of the Bodees. Meanwhile, Avery is on the move.

The clock is ticking. Avery has Annie and Daniel is on the chase to save her. But even he falls prey to Avery and finds himself helpless in an untraceable location. Thursday and Noel try to figure out Avery's true intentions when they get news of Daniel through Avenue 14. Can they save Daniel in time?
