In the first episode of the series, Angela Scanlon travels to San Jose in California to meet up with Stephen Farrelly. Stephen is better known as "Sheamus" – a professional wrestler for the past six years on the WWE circuit. Angela follows him as he prepares for one of his signature "grudge matches" against his long-time rival, Randy Orton.

Jason Byrne
In this episode, Angela Scanlon travels to Edinburgh to meet Jason Byrne. This is the twentieth successive year that Jason has performed in the Fringe Festival – where he is now one of the biggest comedy acts. Angela goes backstage with Jason as he prepares for his sell-out show, and later joins him on stage for a riotous routine.

Dawn O'Porter
In this episode, Angela Scanlon travels to New York to meet the novelist, fashion guru and broadcaster, Dawn O'Porter. Together, they explore some of the lesser-known delights of downtown Manhattan, and Angela learns of the childhood trauma that has shaped much of Dawn's subsequent life.

Katie Hopkins
In this episode, Angela Scanlon meets the woman who is proud to be known as 'Britain's Biggest Bitch' – Katie Hopkins. Angela goes backstage as Katie is preparing for her first TV chat show to discover if there is more to her than an abrasive public image.

Rory O'Neill / Pandora Panti Bliss
In this episode, Angela Scanlon meets up with Rory O'Neill – otherwise known as Miss Panti Bliss. Panti is a drag queen who played a central role in the successful campaign to legalise gay marriage in Ireland. Angela goes backstage with Panti at the Soho Theatre in London – where she is appearing in a sell-out one-woman show.
