Lauren's first few days on the job have been anything but dull while she learns how to read the TelePrompter, write her own stories and do her "man-on-the-street" interviews in addition to upsetting Queen Bee Annalisa Petralia.

During her stay in Tyler, TX, Lauren has been so busy learning how to be an anchor that she hasn't had time for dating. All that changes when Lauren's flirting finally catches the eye of shy-guy KYTX cameraman Andrews and he asks her out on a date, even though News Director Dan Delgado and fellow anchorwoman Annalisa Petralia both disapprove of office relationships.
