At Bristol, re-routed travellers face a hefty bill for a coach to transfer them to Stansted, while in snow-free Liverpool, a Belfast-bound passenger refuses to accept responsibility for a wrongly dated ticket. The only people enjoying the weather are a father and son heading for St Moritz to compete in a race on the Cresta Run.

Meanwhile, a man manages to lose his wife in the Luton terminal.

A French student mistakenly goes to Heathrow instead of Luton and finds she is too late to get to Paris. At Liverpool there are happier scenes as Simon Whiteford dons a clown costume to greet girlfriend Helen Saunders in the arrivals lounge with a marriage proposal.
