Agony - Season 2

Season 2
Agony Aunts
Welcome to Agony Aunts, where narrator/interviewer Adam Zwar heads further down the river in his hilarious search for answers on dating, cohabitation, marriage, divorce and dating again. Will he find the answers he seeks or will he return more confused than ever? That's if he returns at all.
With the camera trained on some of Australia's wisest and funniest women, Agony Aunts promises to be every bit as wrong, insightful inappropriate, confessional, and funny as its brother, Agony Uncles.
Combining candour, wisdom and a little bit of bluntness, Agony Aunts will emerge as an unblinking 6-part, half-hour documentary series that charts the do's and don'ts of picking-up, falling in love, getting your heart broken and hopping straight back on the horse.

Episodes

Agony Aunts: The Single Woman
The Aunts take us through the rough and tumble of single life, explaining to potential suitors exactly how they like to be approached, what conversations are likely to get them interested and the difference between a sexy man and a creepy one. Most importantly, the Aunts let us know how much time should elapse between them giving you their number and you calling it.

Agony Aunts: Dating
You'll probably never be under as much scrutiny in your life as when you're on a date, particularly if it's with one of our Aunts. In this episode, the Aunts let interested parties know how to eat, behave, kiss and what personal information is best kept to yourself. They also answer such time-honoured dilemmas as "Is Chivalry Dead?", "How do you know he's not that into you?" and "How do you respond to an unwelcome 'I love you'?".

Agony Aunts: The Relationship
So you've traversed the line from dating to relationship and suddenly you're feeling a bit jittery. It's OK, the Aunts are here to help with the big questions of how to impress their mum, how to know if you're really in love, and how to tell if you've got a great man. And even if you have found a great man, does that necessarily mean he'll make a great father?

Agony Aunts: Moving In
It's cohabitation time and the Aunts discuss how to reach a man's potential in the home without nagging him too much. Then they move on to the bigger issues of trust, jealousy and how to tell when you're about to be proposed to. But, then again, some of our Aunts don't even want to be proposed to.

Agony Aunts: Breaking Up
It's time for the Aunts to guide you through the tumult of relationship disintegration. What are the signs that your union is going south, how can you be certain your partner's cheating on you and when do you know it's really, really over? Then there's the actual breaking up. How do you end it without being too mean? Or is being mean important? And if they break up with you, how do you keep your dignity?

Agony Aunts: Single Again
The Aunts teach you how to simultaneously cope with the grief of breaking up while embracing the delights of single life. They also talk you through the world of online dating and advise on whether you should you fall in love with the first person you sleep with post-relationship. In this unmissable finale, the Aunts impart their last bit of wisdom before sending you off in search of romantic glory.
